You have to get rid of them in Itunes and sync your Ipod.

Step 1. Plug your iPod into the computer, open iTunes.

Step 2. Find the songs or playlists you don't want.

Step 3. Click them once, then go to edit and click delete.

Step 4. You can delete them from your library all together by doing the same steps in the Music section of iTunes.

Hope I helped. :)

Play song you don't want on your iPod.

Throw iPod at wall.

Repeat with other songs you don't want.

Step 1. Plug your iPod into the computer, open iTunes.

Step 2. Find the songs or playlists you don't want.

TheZ3nMan

For a simpler solution, stop after completing step 2.

*NEW* Step 3. Click on the song(s) you don't want

*NEW* Step 4. press BACKSPACE on your keyboard.

okay. It asks me if I want to "Remove to Recycle Bin" or "Keep Files". I clicked on one. I then checked my Ipod (which was plugged into the computer at the time) and the songs were still on it. What am i doing wrong?

Does Itunes recognize your Ipod? (do you see an icon for it on the left)? If so, select Sync Ipod.

What does the icon look like? Where does it say "Sinc Ipod"?

The icon should be on the left under "devices", and looks just like your Ipod. If it is not there, you may have to disconnect and reconnect your Ipod to the computer, because it does not see it.

First don't synch it. It's annoying, you may as well copy what you want by hand. Just go into the iPod though iTunes and select the music you want deleting and delete it. I've got an 80gb classic and I'm disappointed you can't delete music on the go. I think I gave up function in return for space
