So there was this girl that I kinda fell in love with, but it didn't work out (it doesn't really matter how it didn't work out)and I really need to get over her. Now there are other girls in my life that I have a chance with, but this other girl is still in the back of my mind. I need to be completely over her, as in I need to be able to look at her and be like "w/e I don't care." How do I do this? Plz help, and thanks in advance.

Stay away from her and go out with other people to get her out of your mind.

There really isnt a way, you either eventually forget or you try hanging out with other girls. I am in the same situation as you so I understand how hard it is.

The human mind works in weird ways, so she will be there for a very long time. All you can do is try and avoid seeing her as much as possible, get her off your mind, even if you feel like you can't in time that WILL happen. It's just the way it goes, I'm sure you get told that but it's the truth.

You don't. Unless they break your heart, you can never fall out of love with someone who you were "in love" with. You can move on and find other people, but you can never force yourself "out" of love. That attachment never disappears, just weakens in respect to newer and/or more powerful attachments.

Ask her... If she can't answer... you should patch things up.

I don't think you can fall out of love. Gradually your feelings for a person just change, and one day, you realise that you don't love them anymore. Its not a sharp and sudden change, like falling in love is, but its often a sudden realisation.

Time will end it for you. Just don't have her in your life and keep yourself busy. It is quite possible to fall out of love if you don't pay attention to the person. New experiences....new friends. It happens...good luck.

Not true. It does happen. Love dies.

What do you mean ask her? Ask her how she feels about me? Ask her what the rel. is?

Those lucky individuals are few and far between.

I used to have a problem with getting over someone too... I really don't know how I got over her - but I just did.

I guess the best thing I could say is to just live life and don't let your memories anchor you from moving forward.

It takes a long time to really get over someone that you have loved and spent so much time with. When I came out of my 5 year relationship with my ex, it took me more than a year to get completely over her. Going into another relationship might help, but take it slow and don't rush things. Don't try to get serious too quick.

Well love and hate is closely related so turn it into hate or just don't care anymore.

think of all the things that are wrong with her, never about the things that you like about her

Don't communicate with her.
