Lil'Wayne is bad. His lyrics are meaningless, the flow and punchline are all wack. And i hate to see him been hailed for being the best rapper alive which isn't true at all. Any underground rappers could destroy him that easy, and i hate seeing other people compare Lil'Wayne to old rappers (90's rappers) such as 2Pac, Nas, Bigge BoneThugs you name it.

He is overrated, and people don't care about lyric no more. But that is up to the people who enjoy his music, i just hate the Mainstream era.

He was way better before he went mainstream, and had to commercialize all his music. lmblomas

As much as I hate rap music, I do not at all mind blasting some lil wayne. He's a bit over rated in my opinion. But I feel like all his songs are different, no 2 songs are the same or sound the same. I dont like him just because his music is whack, and I would imagine he probably thinks of himself as a true great hip-hop/rap artist/lyricist.

what the hell kind of song is "Lolipop" - "Go DJ". The producers that sign him up are just as bad for putting him on record, but to me, it's more than just Lil Wayne. SouljaBoy - Plies - Ne Yo etc, all this new music, especially this new "hip-hop" is just whack.

Before, a lot of music was put on records because it was good. People NOW say, "it doesnt have to be good, just catchy". Looking at the music industry closely, it's almost as if that is the new standard, and truthfully speaking, it is the new standard.

but anyways, i would always prefer to not listen to him at all, when there is so much better stuff out there thats available to listen to

even with some of his tracks where his lyrics arent half bad, i really dont like his voice, beats and flow
