Why can't you eat your favorite chicken?!
Been going to the gym for the past 2 weeks now and building some guns. If I eat the chicken, my guns go bye bye. :o

How is that possible? Chicken is the best work out food possible (well next to fish) Its lean, has high protein, has good fats, and keeps you full. Thats what we always did back when i was in water polo and FootballI would love too, its so easy, i would bake a dessert too since i got my degree on Baking. Being killed and eaten by predators is a far cry from living a full life of tortorous captivity, malnutrition and pain before eventually becoming a meal for some retarded person who considers your breast a product rather than a muscle.

I could never be a vegetarian.
I have tried it many times and have never lasted more than a day.
For Americans especially it's very challenging, but only because we've been raised thinking that a meal plate needs to consist of half meat with a quarter starch and a quarter veggies, or some variation on that formula. I've been a vegetarian for years and I've never enjoyed food as much as I have in since making the switch.

I am not a vegetarian myself, but a few of my closest friends are. I have been over to their place a few times for dinner, and I had some of the best dishes of my life there, with no meat included.

No, it's just because I love eating meat too much and I get depressed if I can't.

me too. humans are just built to eat meat. otherwise we'd have teeth and digestive systemslike herbivores.[QUOTE="Schwah"]

I'm against the horrors of the meat industry. If you want to go out and hunt your own food be my guest. Do the slightest bit of digging into the subject of the meat industry and you can't help but see how rediculoslysick the whole mess is. I'm not talking about the slaughter of animals, I'm talking about the way they live until the slaughter. It's messed up dude.
As for vegetables... it takes approximately 16 pounds of vegetable matter to create 1 pound of the meat that you eat. If we just ate those vegetables instead we'd have more protein with a whole lotl ess suffering. Not only is the meat industry largelycruel, it's inefficient.

I'd love to see you apply that same logic to other popular issues and see how well it fits. Just because it feels good doesn't mean it's a good idea. Just ask your local pedophile.

Veal, in the way it's traditionally produced should be outlawed, and animal welfare should be better while they are alive. Can't really agree with anything else though because people want meat. Cars are pretty inefficient too when there are buses and trains, but people still want them.As for vegetables... it takes approximately 16 pounds of vegetable matter to create 1 pound of the meat that you eat. Yeah, like I said, I have no issue with people eating meat generally speaking. Humans have been hunting and eating animals for years. Who am I to speak ill of hundres of thousands of years of behavior? BUT... the detachment from raising, hunting, killing animals is a recent phenomenon. It's easy to think of a sausage, a chicken wing, or a steak as a product rather than part of a previously living being. I'd like to see some of these "tough typers" slaughter their own cow rather than bravely purchasing a lump of meat at their local grocery store while considering how manlytheir meal will be. Chumps I say.
