I was wondering how you prefer your clothes to fit. Me I'm lean so I prefer my clothes to be slim fitting. This is why I like Express and Abercrombie. All of their clothes are slim fitting. However slim fitting does not work for most bodies. You have to have the body in order to do it.

I cannot stand loose fitting clothes. All my clothes are pretty much slim fit or fitted

Started wearing more fitted clothing.. went from buying medium to small. I realised I shouldn't hide my body from the women. It isn't fair on them.

This is why I like Express and Abercrombie. chansaet
Never worn abercrombie...not spending that much for what they sell Express is only for little guys without much muscle mass. Their XL shirts don't fit around my arms or chest (looks like Jersey Shore crap) ...someone bought me some shirts there and there was nothing I could do (XL fit as stated above, XXL was like a tablecloth)

I would not even say for lean and cut...because then you would need a medium or small shirt...making the arms tiny. It just seems like a store for people that don't lift weights at all

Lean and cut guys aren't big. If you look at their models there pretty cut and they fit the clothe fine.

three things 1. He is a model -he is not wearing something off the rack -he is wearing a custom tailored shirt and pants (they could take w/e size and fit it to him) 2. long sleeve dress shirts are an easy fix for the above reasons I could fit in a dress shirt from most anyplace -I have mine tailored 3. Pictures can make someone look like a lot of things We have no way of knowing if that guy is 6'1 180 or 5'4 120 Express is just not a place for guys that lift weights (unless they are doing it wrong). -unless you just love their dress shirts and want to get them tailored

Cut dudes are not big. Look at Bruce Lee. He's prob the most cut you can get. He's 5'7 and he weighs 135. He's not big. If he's wearing a long sleeve shirt he'll look pretty skinny. But once he takes off his shirt its all muscle. Not all guys workout (lift weights, cardio) to get big. Alot of guys (me included) do it to get more tone. Brad Pitt is also another good example. He's normal size but has the six pack, pecs, Biceps. Really cut.

You also have no proof he's wearing a custom made shirt. In fact if he was that would be a misrpresentation of the product. If you look at the shirt its supposed to fit a certain way, This shirt is fitted which is Slim fit. Express also sells Modern fit which is more of a slimmer classic fit. The picture of the guy wearing the shirt is supposed to represent how the shirt will fit.

Models are also not short for the most part. So most likely he's 6 ft. Express clothes are no more tighter than Abercrombie. And Abercrombie clothes are also made for lean cut guys.

Being a Lean cut guy if I don't wear slim fit people would think I'm skinny. Dats y I wear slim fit. People know I'm lean and cut and not skinny. Though I could always take off my shirt but I'm not a douche

If you are not going to link stuff, then I am not going to go look (you have been here long enough to link things). It was annoying enough the first couple times. Bruce Lee is the best example you could give...he did not lift weights (you just proved my point). And I can guarantee you that he (the model) is wearing custom fit clothing. My dad worked in retail for 30+ years (first for Anthony's [national retailer] before they went to s*** and then owned his own [local retailer]) -I was forced to work for him from the time I was 12 till my parents' divorce -even in the local, crappy circular ads the 'models' had their clothes tailored -it is just what you do to get that perfect fit (like what the model has) to make sure the clothes are presented in the best way possible -it is an easy thing to do to make your product look 100x better I never said that I had any proof the model was small or big. I said that you never know in a picture that lacks anything to give perspective. -he COULD be 5'4 or 6'4...130lbs or 180...you never know -but it does not matter as all his clothes will be tailored to give that perfect fit (then photo shopped later on) Some stores just make their clothes for certain groups of guys. ...there is nothing wring with that (it all about market demand). Express just so happens to be in the market for guys that don't lift weights (which is not the same as guys that don't work out...far different in fact)

[QUOTE="chansaet"]

[QUOTE="rawsavon"] three things 1. -unless you just love their dress shirts and want to get them tailoredrawsavon

Models are also not short for the most part. So most likely he's 6 ft. Express clothes are no more tighter than Abercrombie. And Abercrombie clothes are also made for lean cut guys.

Heres a shortsleeve tee. This guy is not skinny. He's cut. Lean cut guys are not big. There body size is more normal to slim but there really tone

Bruce Lee doesn't lift weights?

You have to lift weights to gain muscle. Lean Cut guys lift weights to get a good amount of muscle but not be big and bulky. You have to lift weights. Isn't the rule to get lean and cut to do more reps rather than more weights? I'm saying lean cut guys is what Express clothes are made for and Express models are not big bulky buff guys. There lean cut guys. Lean cut guys are not big. Not all guys workout to achieve same results. Some guys want to get big. Some guys want to get tone

I didn't link bc I'm on a mac and as long as I've been here linking doesn't work on mac unless if they fixed it recently

You guys have all your jargon wrong:

Skinny = no muscle mass/tone, you are not cut (DJ Qualls)

Cut = A very good amount of muscle tone not even close to skinny, muscles are well defined (Brad Pitt)

Jacked = Body Builder physique tones of muscle mass (Arnold Schwarzenegger)

Slim. You don't want to be weighed down by extra baggy clothes when running from the police. You want to be streamlined.

I agree. Brad Pitt is not big. He's lean and cut. He'll fit express clothes fine

That could not be more false...what do you think people did before free weights and machines came around :?

It is not that simple.

I see you are not pressing the tailored clothing part. I will assume you are acknowledging that he is waering some.

I never said that Express is not for small guys or guys that run or guys that workout. I said it is just not for guys that lift weights (unless they are just abnormally small in the arms and chest despite lifting)

He's not lean. Bruce Lee is lean cut, Brad Pitt has a good amount of muscle mass on him. Though I do agree he would fit that clothing.

Depends on the outfit. I have all three types in my closet.
