Here's how my typical week usually go:

Monday: anxious but motivated. Not my favourite day, but I'm going to make the best of it.

Tuesday: what Tuesday? I'm pretty much on autopilot at this point. Tuesdays are just completely forgettable.

Wednesday: oddly stress-free. There's just something about a Wednesday that relaxes me, somehow. Edit: ah. It's because my favourite TV shows tend to be on Wednesdays.

Thursday: excited. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like something interesting always seem to happen on a Thursday.

Friday: energised. Can't wait to start my weekend.

Saturday: Yay! It's Saturday! Fun!

Sunday: I. AM. SO. BORED. And I have insomnia.

I think you can guess by now why I posted this thread. I really, really hate Sundays.

On days I work I generally feel great because my job is awesome, fun, rewarding and the people I work with are generally awesome.

On days I don't work, I feel depressed, lonely, and of late borderline suicidal because I am a depressed fat antisocial . Starting a medication regimen right now so hopefully that will change.

Stressed or insecure are the norm. It's rare that I feel something else. Not long ago I felt excitement. That was pretty weird because I almost forgot what it felt like. But things can make me laugh. It's just that it doesn't make me feel much.

Hurray for social anxiety.

Luckily I am pretty healthy. That is maybe the most valuable thing.

I'm horny everyday of the week is what I feel like but above all else, it's just going to work and when I'm at home, it's gaming time or having sex.

I feel pretty decent most of the time, but just like everyone else, I'll go through a depression period, but that's like every few months, not a weekly thing.

Sunday: chill because I don't work.

Monday: I usually go on hikes far since it's my day off too.

Tuesday: bored, annoyed, first day of work.

Wednesday: meh during mornings and afternoons are usually good working out and playing.

Thursday: about the same but it all depends if my 2nd job has me on the schedule(tuesday-saturday but I don't really go much)

Friday: it's Friday so it's good

Saturday: either go out or stay home. Since I'm off here too

Honestly I often forget which day of the week it is. Retirement is awesome like that. But I prefer the weekdays simply because I know where everyone is and when they get home.

Sundays: have to wake up early after staying up late Saturday gaming and watching movies. Usually feel good after church and having brunch. FOOTBALL DAY!

Monday: dragging and have to get back to exercising. This is the day that takes determination to enjoy.

Tuesday: Monday number 2. Easier to get up as I had good rest. Date night with the wife. That's always fun!

Wednesday: Hump day. busiest work day of the week. Feels pretty good as I get a lot done. Community service day too.

Thursday: Exercise hard. work hard. Almost Friday. Pretty good day.

Friday: Leaving early today as it's almost the weekend. Arrow, Flash, Married at First Sight, Agents of Shield episodes here I come. Rest and relax too while playing with child. Great day.

Saturday: Early morning long run. Honey do's. Come what may. Fun day usually

You sound like my stepdad, he's a perfect example that retirement shouldn't be something to dread, it's only what you make of it.

Monday - Wednesday...shitty

Thursday...there's light at the end of the tunnel

Friday...finally

Saturday...feel great

Sunday...feel great until around 6pm...ugh...the work week is almost here already

I'm just burned-out at work. I'm not manic or depressive; I have hobbies and I get plenty of exercise...I just hate getting up and going to the office some days.

Feels like I'm just stumbling through a endless desert trying to find something small, shiny, and valuable on the ground that can offer up a perfect distraction from all of the worlds (and my own) problems each and every day...

I just figured out why I tend to like Wednesdays; it tends to be the day my favourite TV shows are on. Yay, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Monday: Busy. I hate everything.

Tuesday: Busy, I hate everything.

Wednesday: Busy, I still hate everything.

Thursday: The only exciting day which isn't saying much and only if we get a call or two (short story: I volunteer at the fire department)

Friday: afternoon is busy but afterwards relaxation... unless I have studying to do.

Saturday: Busy but if not, I'm happy and can get to do things.

Sunday: Busy but hey, I make time and a half.

Monday's start slow, I might even hide a bit.

Tuesday and Wednesday, have to work, start questioning why I'm still doing this crap since I hate it. Daydream about just dropping everything and just leave.

Thursday, start looking forward toward the weekend.

Friday, about 20% of the staff is in, everything is quiet, peaceful, work is easy, mostly tidy everything up for the weekend and getting ready for Monday.

Friday night, go out and eat, maybe a movie, etc.

Saturday through Sunday afternoon, catch up on sleep, housework, yard work, go fishing, maybe do some shopping for the next couple weeks, etc.

Sunday evening, watch tv, relax, but in the back of your head you know the next 5 days don't belong to you.

Repeat the same routine the next week. I find traveling every 3 or four months helps a lot to break the monotony.

When your unemployed and out of school. Every day feels largely the same. Other than Wednesday's and Sundays where I may decide to attend bible study or church service. Or days I schedule myself for volunteer work. Each day doesn't feel much different than the other. So I can easily lose track of the days.

Sunday: Work 12 hours. Think about doing some Computer Science homework.

Monday: Work 12 hours. Think about doing some Computer Science homework.

Tuesday: Work 12 hours. Think about doing some Computer Science homework.

Wednesday: Work 12 hours. Go to my Chemistry Class. Think about doing some Computer Science homework.

Thursday: Think about doing some Computer Science homework.

Friday: Go to my three hour Chem lab. Go to Chemistry class. Think about doing some Computer Science homework.

Saturday: Think about doing some Computer Science homework.

I like the beginning of the week more. I feel caught up and nothing is coming due for a week.
