Just curious to see if I'm the only person who starts with the tail and then makes the loop. :P

I stare at the paper until an "e" writes itself. It starts with the loop and moves to the tail, so I assume that's how I would do it.

Loop then tail, but I actually write my "e" like the arial font, my loop isn't a loop, it has a point. :P

I produce the loop first, starting from the inside, then work my way down to the tail.

Loop then tail. Although, I think that tail then loopmay be more common in left handed people.

when I'm drunk, I normally don't go around writing lower-case "e"s, but hey that's just me

I start with the center with the horizontal line then go around for the loop. That's how I was taught to do it.

With my right (dominant) hand, I go loop-then-tail. If I try to write with my left hand, I go tail-then-loop.

I start by making a little line that curves off to the right. Then at the top of that, I make the loop.

I start by drawing a circle, then I erase the three quarters of it until only the top left portion remains. Next the bottom right quarter of the loop is drawn, then an eighth of the tail. I draw the top right portion of the loop before continuing to draw the tail by fractions of thirty two. Once I am 23/32 of the way done with the tail I switch back to the loop and finish it by drawing the bottom left portion. Then I continue to draw the tail fraction by fraction, doubling the denominator with each step until I am finished.

Loop then tail. It flows well if you're writing left to right.
