How does Gamespot maintain Gamespot.com and keep it so updated?

Ive always wondered about this. do they sit there in dreamweaver or something and insert the html code themselves and update the site by hand.

or do they have some kind of software to do this? the sheer amount of data and information on this website is obscene and i cant understand how a small staff can keep thousands of pages updated.

im sure server side includes are a major factor but i cant understand how there able to do this.

They sacrifice a goat every Sunday. More that That I'm just not sure.

They don't need to keep all the pages updated, they only need to add things when relevant. They built the engine to add stuff easily, I'm sure.

im sure a content management system is a factor as well. something like joomla or whatever

and when you look at the source code, you can see they use a lot of DIV tags
