Being hit in the face does not hurt much, has happened a few time to me. Being hit on the nose though....hurts especially an upward punch.
Its more of a shock than anything. Doesnt hurt too bad.
Unless, of course, they connect with your nose. Thats a whole world of hurt.
Also, if youre ever gonna get hit in the face, keep your jaw closed...dont want to shatter teeth or bite your tongue
It's not that bad really. I would take a punch to the face over a kick to the nuts any day.megagene
I'd take anything to the face than a kick to the nuts tbh. I'd take a bat/golf club/tire iron to the face before I put my nuts at risk
a feeling of initial fright because of the suddenness of the attack, followed by searing hatred for the attacker for putting such pain in the face, and also a feeling of humiliation because of the brutal attack against one's identity and possibly whole life. Oh, and a real desire for revenge.
that's just a guess; i've never really been punched in the face...
I do not believe anyone punches people in the face and has not been punched in the face.
Shhadow_Viper
I punched my friend once in the face he just stood there in shock and started crying in front of the class when i was in high school
Hard punch to the nose or a punch to the ear (well even though that is the side of your face) generally hurts the most. There are plenty of other places where you can get kicked or punch that hurt a hell of a lot more than being punched in the face.
Must be me but getting punched in the face makes it feel like the skin is tightening. It's horrible.

What a wuss. But yeah if you are sincerely curious just keep hitting people, you will find out sooner or later.[QUOTE="NinjaOmega"][QUOTE="Shhadow_Viper"]

What about if you punch someone in the eye?
NinjaOmega
That's one of the crappiest sensations I ever had. You feel your eyeball being squeezed a bit. The pain lasts only a few seconds, and it's hard to describe... press your closed eye with the fingers and multiply by 50 - that's how it feels.
You shouldn't punch people in the face because it'll only make them mad. If you want to hit some one hit them in a sensitive area like the belly this way u got time to run.
[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Only punched in the face once....granted my jaw was broken in two places from it.....but I didn't feel it. The vodka may have helped....megageneOh snap. That was from a punch? I thought you were in a car accident or something. Nope. Dude that owed me money and was a bit high at the time sucker punched me. People.:(
No I'veneverpunched anyone in the face nor got punched in the face. No matter how angry you are, face punching is illegal and is form of violence and if you break someone's nose (or worse even cause him brain damage) you can go to prison for that and there I'm sure you'd get punched a lot by other inmates.
Do they make you wear a sign saying you were incarcerated for punching....>__>No I've punched anyone in the face nor got punched in the face. i got punched in the face be4
and it didnt hurt at all, but i think its more "i just didnt feel it"
cause i was pissed, and i remember vividly no pain, only "this mother****** punched me in the face!!!!"
actions were taken
then it was over
Lol that was such a poor comment im sorry. Who are you, Gandhi? You wouldn't punch someone back if they started it? And to give someone brain damage with one punch is sooooo unlikely. No I'veneverpunched anyone in the face nor got punched in the face. Real life face punch isnt like you see in the movies.
People have actually died from a single punch to the face. Even if it didnt connect with the nose.

I know what a real punch is like. And yes actually the most dangerous place to be punched in the head is your temple it can kill you instantly. BUT a straight blast to the face is very unlikely to be lethal. An uppercut to the nose however....I took a turning hook kick to my right temple during a free-sparring match in Taekwondo. My opponent wasn't supposed to use their heel with that kick or use full-force. If it weren't for the helmet, I probably would have been knocked out. I usually dodge most of my opponents' kicks, but that one caught me off-guard. :(
I wasn't knocked out nor did it knock me on the ground, but it still knocked the wind out of me. I felt the impact, but it wasn't remarkably painful. I felt kinda dizzy and off-balance. My Kwanjanim had me lay down for awhile so I could recover from the hit. The opponent had to sit out as well.
I haven't taken a punch to the face though. I can't imagine it being worse than being kicked in the face/head.
Depends on how strong your kicks or punches are really. A turning hook kick and you didn't see it coming? Kicks are generally much stronger than punches.

Depends on if you're trained to kick. A sidekick from a street fighter? No, they wouldn't be trained for the balance on impact. A Mawashi geri from a karateka, even for my hate for karate, would hurt. Some martial artists prefer punching, or grappling, or locking etc. ANYWAY way off topic.Depends on if you're trained to kick. Taekwondo focuses more on kicking techniques than punching. Turning kicks are more powerful than regular kicks because of the momentum you build up as you're making the turn.
I know what TKD focuses on, but I don't see how that challenges nor backs up my post? PM the reply, this is turning into spamSadly I've never been in any sort of fight where I could get punched in the face. :( If I had it might have inspired me to toughen up a bit.
You mean your thoat? The MOST dangerous place to be punched. VERY VERY likely to kill you.How does it feel to be hit right in front of your neck? A straight furious fist right through your frikkin neck!!??! :D

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. A punch to the face from someone that actually knows how to throw a punch is brutal.
