How early do you complete 'big project' homework assignments?

When it comes to a homework assignment that you have weeks or months to complete, how early do you take care of it? I often wait till the last couple of days. What about you?

I'll get it done a couple nights before its due. There is no sense in getting it done early, its still going to take the same amount of time.

I do it early and take to the teacher and ask him/her what I can do to make it better and get the highest mark possible.

Considering how my "big" projects consists of planning,analysis, design and implementation and testing..I started early this time..

The night before it's due.
I used to do them as early as possible, and refine it over time, but my marks tend to be higher if I rush it out at the last minute.

I'm one of the day or two people. I think in the last 6 years, there hasn't been one time where I finished a project completely before 11pm.

I always finished the project right away, and didn't do anything I didn't absolutely have to until I had it finished

I put it in late and use the excuse"I was feeding the ducks and my hands slipped and my homework fell in the pond, and then i had to do it again" Always works!

Usually i wont even do them. But if its very important (Contributes greatly to exam marks etc etc) , then i would probaly get it done as soon as i recieve it.

I start it early sometimes, if it's really important, but I usually finish it a few days before it's due in.

That's me in a nut-shell. Funny, I'm doing a paper right now (10 pages long) due next week, started tonight, I'm....4 hours in and got zero done...

It depends on how much time is given. If it's a month or 2, probably around a week before it's due. If it's a week or 2, one or two days before it's due.

I used to do big homework assignments right away so I'd get it out of the way, but now I live for the moment, so I usually finish up only days in advance. I procrastinate, and I like it like that.
