How far would you go to protect someone you love?

My life, easily. If its someone I love, I would go as far as death.

If someone threatens to hurt someone I love, there will be hell.

They have lived there life more then you have, chances are they would never want you to trade your life for them.

I'm writing a book about this. The main characters wife, and child are kidnapped, and somewhere in the story he will be forced to make a choice about saving his wife or child.

I guess I'm one of the only ones being logical here.

I would certainly not choose death at this time of my life.

Saying what you'll do, and actually doing it when the time comes are two totally different things.

sorry but I don't believe so many people would be so willing to die just like that, it's easy to type on a fourm that you'd do it.

at the moment I wouldn't die for anyone, I wouldn't die for my parents, they wouldn't want me to. I have a sister but she's in another state that I see twice a year, so yeah I don't see how I'd even be in a situation to possibly do it.

No GF or kids so I have no one depending on me
