It really depends what length it is. I can write good short essays but long one's i flaw in.SharvieI have to write one that's half a page long and I'm struggling to come up with ideas, but surprisingly I can write a 10 page essay on something I love when I'm bored with no problem.

Half a page shouldn't really give you that much trouble.

I used to get 95 out of 100's all the time so I guess I'm good at them. :)
The only complaints my teachers had about some of them that when I was allowed to give my opinion, I'd be a tad bit too sarcastic.
I wish I could write essays in English the way I can in Dutch though. English is a much cooler language :D

Try just writing down everything you can think of, then start to remove the parts that aren't essential to your story. And first sentences are almost always the hardest.
Another tip: write the essay... then put it away and have a look at it during the next day. It helps :)
Good luck!

I finished it a few minutes ago, unfortunately I emailed my teacher the essay with 'omg lmao' as the sender.:?the hardest part of essay writing is the first sentence. But once I get a really good first sentance, the rest is easy as pie. I also have this strange writing habit of writing essays in a ludicrously posh manor... it's quite fun really!HellsAngel2cThats exactly the same as me  I always tend to realy go all out in essays
I usually get A's.ElraptorWant to write my essay for my Occupational Therapy class? I'll give you the topic when you agree.
I can write pretty well but I usually just indulge in the art of BS and make a bunch of stuff up just to get it done quicker.
I'm really bad at it. Most of the time I can't think well, and I spent 10 minutes trying to think of a first sentence. When I do get to writing it, I think it sucks, so it takes me a while do redo the whole thing.Caffeine_Tripvery very good, in fact if you pm me the essay question Ill do it for you, for a price of course:)
