I accidentally voted "not at all" but I really meant "I listen to it regularly, but could live without it". Sometimes in long drives, like 6 hour drive to somewhere, I could drive the whole way without listening to anything.
I can't imagine a world without music. I wouldn't want to live in such a place.entropyechoMy thoughts exactly. Music IS life :D
When I'm not listening to music, I'm reading about music. When I'm not reading about music, I'm playing music. When I'm not playing music, I'm listening to music.
And sometimes I do two or three simultaneously.
I spend literally hours a day just in my room, playing cassettes or CDs, vinyl or MP3s, reading music reviews or something on music theory or recording or musical instruments. I know a lot about a wide range of subjects, from African tribal drumming, to Tchaikovsky, to Sonic Youth.
EDIT: Yes, I am listening to music right now, and have two more internet tabs open with pitchforkmedia.com on one, and musiciansfriend.com on the other.
I can't live without it, but it isn't my life.
I don't play any instruments or anything. I'm a visual artist.
Plus, I listen to a lot of different types of music and don't limit myself to the metal and rock of the typical gamer.
Well I am listening to music right now as I type this. A world with no music would cause movies to suck, games to suck, and life to suck.
Music influnces a lot of things. If there was no music, there would be no dancing. No dancing = a lack of a fun generation (i.e. Disco 70's Breakdancing 80's Poppin/Lockin 90's )
Music is what makes the world go round. (Real) Hip hop saved my life.
I can't imagine a world without music. I wouldn't want to live in such a place.entropyechoI feel ya. It's called Pailia. Not pleasant.
