I haven't been on GameSpot in a while. I do follow some of the reviews as I love Kevin VanOrds reviews. But I was wondering how the site is doing these days.

The OT forum is the only reason I visit this site... I can't even remember the last time I used it for ANYTHING video game related.
I agree. OT is really the only worthwhile thing for me here on Gamespot now.The OT forum is the only reason I visit this site... I can't even remember the last time I used it for ANYTHING video game related.

Pretty much this. Except I occasionally use it when I need help in a video game. The OT forum is the only reason I visit this site... I can't even remember the last time I used it for ANYTHING video game related.

mod here, mod there, mod mod everywherePerd1t1on
Yeah, but the mods here are all awesome so I don't mind them being everywhere. Plus it keeps the troll attacks to a bare minimum which is nice.

That is good point. I always thought mods were fair.

i've been fluttering about level 7~8 for the past month.I think you'll find a sizeable portion of this forum is unaware there's any content on the site beyond OT and their friend's blogs. Reviews? Kevin who? What are you talking about? Speak sense!

Well back before all the game journalists and reviewers that actually mattered left this site, it was my go to source for all things video games. Great reviews, great reviewers, and great up to date content. It's gone so downhill since then.
Gamespot is still as great as it was. Even better even, but it's nice to get away from gamespot once in a while.

It would be better if they stopped changing the software, and focused instead on fixing what the software glitched.
Like right now? Full of spam and ppl turning every thread into an RC.
But it's just a summer thing. It will stop as soon as summer is over and the kids leave! ;3
I agree for the most part. Except for Kevin VanOrd. He is the only reviewer left on Gamespot I like and keep up with.

Quite true. GS is a lot more than just OT.
System Wars used to be funnier and had more fanboys and Off Topic used to be quicker. Otherwise the forums are still ridden with glitches and the people who are supposed to be paid to fix such issues are getting by with collecting their money and not doing anything. I wish GameSpot would adopt the vBulletin format already. I don't use the main site.
