You make a list of the people you hate after finishing high school and hunt them down, one by one. It's pretty satisfying.vlin1108i lol'ed
[QUOTE="fdsfgs"]i dont im just scared we will stop talkingRikardurThen try to keep in contact with them. Exactly. It's not very difficult. Go bowling once in a while, to the doughnut shop. Maybe do karaoke once in a while lol.
I'm from the UK and I think growing up here is very different to a lot of places. We leave school at 15 and then you can goto college after that. College tends to just feel like a more casual school, you end up with more free time (unless your like trying to study loads of things at once). University is suppose to be the best times of your life, but don't ask me, I didn't goto one. I've gone down a strange walk of life since I left College and I don't know where it's taking me.
Can't help you...I'm personally trying my best not encounter anybody I knew back in high school...KidMob

after high school, everyone in my circle of friends left to go to universities all around the world, we're all spread out now. we still keep in touch though; we all go home during breaks and use msn/skype/facebook, etc. yeah, i really miss them all, but you'll make new friends in college for sure.
as for life after high school in general, you get a hell of a lot more free time on your hands, which can turn out to be either very rewarding or very dangerous, depending on how you choose to spend that free time.
Life after high school is pretty great. I'm attending college and I hang out with my old high school friends whenever they happen to be in town.
I go to a small art college though, so I've chosen to make just a handful of friends rather that make all of them my friends since I know they will become my competition as time goes on.
College allows way more freedom than high school. Some colleges don't even take attendance, but you are expected to attend as much as possible if you plan on succeeding.
It's like online gaming, experience may vary. It's very easy to make friends in college, especially when you're in the dormitories and during the first year or so almost everyone there is taking the same classes. It is really up to you whether you make friends or not. I found out that a lot of people, in general, annoy me so I haven't made/tried to make any friends, just temporary acquaintances.
Keeping in contact with old high school buddies is really easy to do nowadays with the Internet. There's facebook/twitter/myspace/skype/e-mail/etc . . . or you can be old school like me, letter writing. :o
lol, if you think high school is bad, wait till you get out here in the real world.
PROTIP: go to college for medicine or law if you don't want the next decade of your life to be an uphill climb.
i have atleast one friend i see once in awhile while the others will say hi and just walk around.
ther were in college last time. Your better off going to college. i have more friends around town but i dont go see them cause they got to work or in school etc... or rasing a kid.
so yeah, im a senior and i was just worried about how things are going to play out when i leave high school. im kind of sad because the people that i know that graduated, i NEVER see them any more and i doubt i ever will, i dont want that to happen and i know it IS going to happen to a lot of people i like. how is it after high school though? did you make more friends in college? do you make friends at your job? does it still feel like you're a kid?fdsfgsI hate university, which is leaving me overly stressed.

Don't worry so much. If you lose contact with certain people, they probably weren't worth maintaining contact with anyway. I am in contact with only a couple of people I knew in high school, but they were my best friends at that time. Acquaintances come and go. You just get used to it. It doesn't really feel like you're a kid anymore, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun. And you most certainly have more control over your life than you did in high school, provided you played your cards right and didn't flunk out, forcing you to pump gas for a living.
High school was good for me, but I liked university better. And now, the only thing that I miss about university is the additional social contact. Other than that, I can safely say that this is the 'best' my life has been.
you get alot more freedom, some handle this badly, while other prosper with it.
u never see ur friends again. that's what i have to say. u get new ones. u go off to college party. that's if u go to a 4 year college. comunity college isn't good because i still live with parents.iam2greenwell said.
I'm in my first year of college. I entered with sophmore standing. The atmosphere is so much better than high school...to an extent you wouldn't believe. You'll meet people that you never thought you would...you'll create friendships that will last you the rest of your life. Leaving high school can be a tad sad but once you get into college, you'll quickly recouperate. Trust me :)
I still talk to some of my friends from high school and every time I go back home, I make sure to hang out with them. If you want to keep your high school friendships, you will.
