Rush really shouldn't be #1 (shouldn't be anywhere near that list, IMO).

Also, Everlast? Really? List of top 100 One Hit Wonders I would agree with, but definitely not top 100 of all time.

Missing from the list are... Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, and unless I skimmed over it, Led Zeppelin.

It's a good start, but needs some work.

That's why I have "Favourite Albums of all Time" and "Favourite Bands of All Time". Because no one will ever agree on a consensus pick, and the music media is surely slanted.

Not bad at all. You need Tool and RHCP up there. Tool is one of the few original early 90's alternative bands that still exists, and keep getting more popular. RHCP's fanbase also constantly grows.

you can't really compile a greatest list.

if you were really compiling a "greatest" list i would kick half the bands you have on their off because quite frankly they are no good.

i mean honestly, 311, my chemical romance, cold play? you call this a greatest list of all time? those bands will be forgotten in the next 10 years.
