Love the Terminator series and I thought it wasn't well done.
Go ahead see it but I recomend watching either Up, Drag Me To Hell, or The Hangover. Those are the better movies out right now in thearters.

Uh...did you not see him say Up and The Hangover are in theaters? :| Plus, most theaters are still playing Star Trek.
If you don't think there's anything good in theaters right now, you're way too picky.

You can watch The Hangover. It's one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while.
As for Terminator it's really a love or a hate movie. Alot my friends said it was great but I ended up hating it.
Horrible. McG can't direct and they shouldn't make a fifth film but they are.

Its more funny than horror. Its like Evil Dead if you've ever seen those.
I liked Terminator:Salvation but, some of my friends didn't. The Hangover is alsoin theaters now go see it. It's one of the best comedies I have seen in a long time.
I liked it. I don't know why people don't. I don't really know how to describe the movie really without spoiling it or oversaturating it with a bunch of adjectives that have no meaning to you. It was good though.Genetic_Code
Because it was poorly filmed - the CGI was bad, the random scenes that made no sense
Its sad but I was laughing at how ridiculous so many things were with that film.
Also McG's original idea for the ending of that film ... he clearly has no idea what hes talking about and needs to not direct the terminator series anymore. He honest to god thought that what he proposed for his original ending was awesome. "ORIGINAL" ending is this
"We had a jet-black ending. Connor dies, we're in a room with all the people we care about. You take Connor's likeness, you put it on the living machine of Marcus. He sits up, now looking like Christian Bale, takes a gun, kills Kate, kills Kyle, kills Star, kills everybody, eyes flare red, [snaps] the end."
Another victim of The Internet Hate Machine.
The story is interesting enough. Nothing special.
McG is a good director. If you say otherwise you must be blind. Those long, continuous takes where you're in the middle of the action and the perspective constantly changes are nothing short of amazing. There's no crap like shaky-cam, hyperactive editing or ridiculous Dutch angles and close-ups. The dialogue bits are well handled.I like the focus on the actors' faces.
The music is what hurts the movie. It's just noise, easily Elfman's worst OST.
Overall, it's like a Verhoeven film, minus the gore. Much better than T3, easily up there with the originals.
The original ending was interesting. Better than
a heart transplant in the middle of the desert.
Also, McG isn't the writer.
Bad CGI? ROFL.
I went in with no expectations, so I didn't find it nearly as bad as everyone else is making it out to be. I recommend doing the same.
