How is the current state of OT to you.

Another thread has probably been made like this recently but I don't really care and i haven't seen it. Honestly I haven't been here like I used to. When I frequented the site more people complained about the site having better discussion. I didn't really see it then, but now I don't know. Maybe i'm just not enjoying the site like I used to, or the posting quality has gone down.

Its not as entertaining as I remember it being a few years ago

I've noticed thread quality has gone down hill, too many threads ask for just a statement not a discussion, things like "what is your favourite car" or "favourite singer"markop2003

They sound like desperate ice breakers, also I don't see a lot of the older quality posters.

I've only been here since January, but I've notice the quality in OT threads has declined in the past few weeks. I wasn't around for the "good ol' days" though, so I can't compare.gingefails

I think its fine. Thread topics are getting stale but posters like D3nnyCrane, Oleg, and me make it interesting.

i havent been here long enough to compare the old OT to the new. but i read someones post once that said "the new OT is the same as the old OT its all the same jibber just without the old jabber" i kind of understood that...

I've only been here for a few months so can't really contribute anything to the topic...But from what I've seen, compared to other forums I go to, this is still the better place to go for discussions regarding ( almost ) anything under the sun.

I started posting here back in '06 and I think that is when it started to go down hill. Just from '06 to now I notice a large decline in quality. Its not that there are any less intelligent people or anything, it just seemed funner several years ago. omfg_its_dally
