How long do you wait to call a girl/boy back?

After you call a girl/boy and they don't pickup or you leave a voicemail how long to you wait to attemt to try to call again?

Wait until they call you.

Well if they work, wait a couple hours .. because maybe they didn't get the message ..

Normally just wait, and if you don't get a response call back, if after a day or two of calling and return call you better get the big picture ..

Assuming you are talking about friends and not girlfriends (I dont have one) then if I phone someone and they're out I phone back every hour, but normally after 1-2 hours someone is in to pick up the phone. I hate leaving a message so I don't bother and out phone always calls as a withheld number (I dont even know why) so they don't know who called.rb2610

...they'll be able to figure out who it is when the "withheld" he actually answered turned out to be you.

If we're talking about a friend, depends on the matter... it's it's serious/I need an answer, I'll call back after 2-3 hours... otherwise I might wait until late evening or the next day.

If we're talking about a phone call to plan a first/second date, I'll a day or 2 pass by.. not to look needy or like a stalker... after the 2nd phone call, it's totally up to them, as they might simply not be interested.

Haha, well I've never had to call more than twice after the first call so it isn't usually a problem, and normally their parents would deal with missed calls, not them. But if it's not anything important I just leave it until they next come on msn.

That doesn't seem like a very good idea.

Ill call her then if she doesnt answer Ill send her a text message saying something like "Hey, called you but no one picked up. Call me later" or something and then Ill wait till she calls or texts me back saying to call her lol.

I only talk to 1 person though.
