It takes me several hours, it is quite time consuming, sometimes all day. It's a shame I don't enjoy it and I get nothing out of it besides a grade.

all depends on the topic, i did a history essay the other day did 2 hours of research and crapped on off just basic history knowledge so it took like no time, but then theres other essays like english where i have to study up on my texts and depending on what they are it can take hours to find the right quotes and etc etc etc, well not hours to find 1 quote, but likie i mean all the quotes and understading the text and researching the text etc etc etc

I never do all a whole essay in one sitting, I try to do one page a day or so. About 2 hours per page? I don't know, depends.

When you have to research and refference everything you say in the essays I've been writing lately it takes weeks.

Same situation for me. My history and philosophy essays have upwards of ten reference books that you have to pour through first before even beginning the essay. For me it's 12-16 hrs research and 4-8 hrs writing which is very time consuming indeed.

Give me a whole day. Or if the deadline is in another week, I'll simply do it the day before the deadline. Okay, I know, such a slacker. Lol.

Depends on how passionate I am on the subject. If I love the subject, I absorb a lot more info and essays are easy to write. Last one I did in 3 hours, and got a HD for it, simply because I was enthusiastic about it.

Depends on my knowledge for the topic. If it's something I already know I could do it in a couple of hours. Otherwise it can range from a whole afternoon to a day.

I ussually spread my essays out, so I won't get super bored. Write a sentence, do something, write a sentence.

It'll take me in total almost a month now. That includes coming up with the topic, researching opinions and any facts, looking up any other relevant information, writing a draft, having the draft looked over, redone. I have only less than a day to get 2 more pages out but if I get started right after my US History class this morning I'll probably be 100% done or 90% done by tonight. I still have 2 hours tomorrow before it's due to fix anything up.

Depends, I'm currently writing a research paper that Ive been working on for about a week and a half, about an hour every night, but that includes research.
