I did a really ignorant mistake and I was wondering how long do I have to pay for a ticket.
I get my check in two weeks and would have enough by then, so I was wondering If it would be okay to pay it in two weeks.

Office hours are closed due to a national holiday :(
is it on your ticket anywhere. do you have a court date? probly just have to have it paid before your court date if you have one.
idk, ive never gotten a ticket. but i would assume they would give you some time to get it paid off. or you might be able to work something out with them.
Are you talking about a speeding/traffic ticket or a parking ticket?
A parking ticket generally has the fine written on it, and it's usually due within a couple of weeks.
If it's a traffic ticket, you can either:
Mail in the ticket, and they mail you a letter stating your fine, payable within 45-60 days...
...or you can show up for the court date, and get your fine there. Sometimes, the judge, the DA, or the cop who pulled you over will have mercy on you, depending on your financial status, what your driving record looks like, etc., and reduce the charges. The fine is then due in 45-60 days.
Either way, you don't need to worry about paying right away.
If it's a points violation, I'd seriously consider taking a defensive driving course as soon as possible, so your insurance doesn't jump (I wonder what it's like to take one without being ordered to by the court...).
Hopefully, that helps.
Ah... that's a points violation here in NY. That's probably the one thing I haven't been pulled over for (seriously, f*** speed limits... too damned slow).^^for not wearing a seatbelt.

Wait until the court date... try to plead with the judge... get a reduced fine... wait until the last possible moment to pay the fine. That can give you up to 4 monts to pay. Then, take the points reduction course so your insurance company doesn't crank your rates too high.
Its kinda lame to get pulled over just for that. Now if he was already speeding, Id understand.^^for not wearing a seatbelt.

I once got a ticket for $1,750. I set up a payment plan, it cost me an extra $20 to do it. I've gotten 7 speeding tickets so far. Just go in before you're listed court date and tell them you want to set up a payment plan. Or, take them to court over it. it gives you another month or 2 to payGTA_dudeHoly shit and I thought I had speeding tickets....

I've been let go with a warning once for a civil, and once for a criminal. I'm 24, and I've experienced it all...

I'm a good driverI think I may have put it together: You're in Arizona, if I'm reading the picture in your sig correctly; the rates are probably a lot nicer. I'm in NY, which has just about the worst insurance rates for drivers in the US.I'm a good driverI think I may have put it together: You're in Arizona, if I'm reading the picture in your sig correctly; the rates are probably a lot nicer.
