How Long Have You Been A Member Of Gamespot?

I've just realised today that I have been a member of this site for 14 years+ & was wondering how many people can match, or exceed that?

Pretty sure this data is collected by the site regarding retention stats & unsubscribing stats but I'm honestly curious why people keep coming back here?

I think there are far better sites for the information I need but part of me feels loyal to the site, purely out of my own longevity for sticking around this long.

What does everybody else feel? Can you match, or exceed my loyalty to the site? I'm genuinely interested about why you've stuck around & what you think this site has to offer nowadays?

Created an account about 20 years ago now but was a frequent visitor before then.

My original account was from 2006 and my current one is from 2013 but I first went into Gamespot back in 2002 before I had an account.

Nearly 20 years. I've met some incredible people over the years, so I could see myself coming for 20 more years. I still enjoy coming here.

Member since October 2nd, 2014.

My account is old enough to vote.

November 2nd 2013 ,kind of weird how my tastes change over the years where I wanted to look into almost every genre to going into treating the hobby more casually.

Today is my first day.

I used to be highly active on gaming forums years ago until Reddit became more and more popular. But Reddit has become more and more of a grating experience to me, and so now I'm trying to get involved in forums again - as dead as they might be.

Joined in 2011. To be honest I very rarely visit the forums nowadays. I do miss the old days though. This place was the first and only online community I ever joined and felt a part of.
