Until now I've been buying every game that scored over a 7 in reviews and I was playing on average 1 new release every week.Unfortunately some things in my life have changed which require the majority of my money so I can basically only buy 1 new release a month,maybe 2... So how many games a month/year can you afford ? Do you wish you could get more ? Do you wait for the price to drop ? Or are you a picky gamer and don't get too many games even if you could afford them ?
Usually none. I'm subscribed to World of Warcraft all year long and that usually satisfies my gaming needs. The last game I bought was Black Ops 2. I will be buying GTA 5 next month though, I've already paid it off. And I'll be getting an Xbox One in November so I'll be picking up some games for that at launch.
I have no idea what my average is. Some months I don't buy any, some months I might buy 25 Atari 2600 games. It depends on what new games are coming out and what old games I run across for good prices.
1 a month I'd say. I always wait for a price drop or flat out skip games now a days. Don't have time to be playing as much as I used to. Last game I bought is pre order of Rome II total war.. Can't wait @_@. Actually probably 3-5 average if you count legacy games. Lately I am buying a lot of SNES and n64 titles at garage sales.
I guess if i averaged it out it would be 1-2 a month. But I don't by games on a regular basis. Â Mostly steam/amazon sales if the price is good (i.e. cheap)

I go months without buying any games but the end of the year I buy a lot.. I probably average 4-5 a month.. but thats with the steam sales included and I usually buy a bunch then.
Depends if theres anything out I want. Some months I don't buy any, wheeras in others I may buy quite a few. I tend to buy more games around the christmas period though.
Depends on how many good games come out a month. If I want a game a usually just get it on release cause their are much worse things I spend my cash on then games so I can always afford it.

I mainly ever get games around the holidays anymore. I just don't put in as much time for gaming as I used to. Granted, I've been playing games a lot more recently, but this has been a nice exception.
I do want to pick up the new splinter cell game, though.
I tend to go on large spending sprees during Steam sales (usually 20+). Other than I may buy one or two a month between the PS3/3DS/Vita or none at all. And this year there have been a few games I had to get day one. Fire Emblem Awakening, The Last of Us, Tales of Xillia and Grand Theft Auto V.
as many that come out that look interesting to me... i don't think i've ever bought more than 3 in a month but there has been many months where i haven't bought any.
