How many hours do you work?

I cant imaging working 8 hrs per shift. Its just too long....  The max I would work is 6 hours, which sounds normal, for a part-time job.

What about you?

I usually work 9 hour days, although this week it's 10.

It depends...some days I work 6...though on most I work 9 to 11 hours.

I only work during the Summer and those hours are pretty long. But I have been relaxing and doing nothing for months now and look foward to actually having a job.

no job right now, but in the summer i look to be having a 9-5 or 9-6 day every day.

in my line of work, you sometimes have to put in as much as 20 hours per day. the average is 12.

I work 40 hours a week at my intern and about 15 hours a week at my parttime job, plus I'm going to school this summer parttime.

I work 9 at my day job, and usually around 3-4 at my night job. So, all in all, around 12-13 hour days.

at the job i have now, the most i work is an 8 hour day. when i interned at an energy company though, i worked 12 hour shifts.

Here in CA you get OT after 8hrs a day.After 12 hours in one day you would get double time.Ca labor laws.

I have 5 8-9 hour shifts a week.  The 9 hour ones include an hour on paide transportation:)

alledgedly i work from 1:30 till 9:30, if a plane is due in late i stay till it gets back, if i get called back in for a aircraft needing fuel, i stay till they leave. but on average i work 42 hours a week.

usually 2 6 hour weekday shifts, and saturdays its any where from 6-8:30 hours
