How many of you still have arcades where you live?

In my city pretty much all the arcades have died out, there is one, but all the games suck, it's too bad because there's always quite a bit of good lookin' girls in there. It's just too boring though.

I'm not sure if arcades have died out as much as here, but it sure sucks not being able to actually challenge people in person to strangers in person at street fighter etc.

:(

There used to be a couple of ones in my neighbourhood; it seems like internet cafes replaced them.

Aside from Game Works and Dave and Busters...None. Though there is a classic one about 45 minutes away that is pretty awesome.

Sadly, all arcades here have pretty much died. But that's what you get, when you never ever update your games.

Theres a seaside resort not far from where I live which used to have loads but theyre just full of fruit machines now. The bowling alley has a few arcades but not nearly as much as it used to.

There's one I checked out in TN called Game Galaxy. That place has stuff from Nintendo to Tekken 6

They were well off.

Ooof, the only arcade I can think of is at the Aurora Mall, and I haven't been there in a while... I really miss those things.

A restaurant/coffee-shop/arcade type thing just opened in a mall around here. It's stacked with gaming consoles , Guitar hero and Rock band stations, gaming dance matts and so on.

It looks pretty great from the outside. If the place wasn't brim-filled with twelve years old,I even might have actually gone in.

Nope. Last year Playdium went around Toronto buying up all of the arcades. Now you can only find playdium "play-places" everywhere.
