I don't know how much the tickets prices are in the States, but they're too expensive here to do that :(

No. It's a waste of money. And I can find better things to do with 2 hours.

All of my friends and I went to the new moon midnight showing for that. It's one of those movies that isn't flat out bad and unenjoyable to watch so we felt it was worth the money. Overall really fun experience :P

My local cinema used to have a deal where 15 pounds ($25) would get me unlimited entrances to any films for a month. I'd watch everything they were showing, regardless of reviews. When you're getting movies so cheap and going without expectations, then even absolute rubbish is enjoyable. I also had a promotional one litre Tomb Raider cup that gave me unlimited refills of any soft drink for life :o

Well, in my city there's a movie theater which only plays movies that aren't playing in major theaters anymore, but not yet released on DVD either, and they sell tickets for 4$. I wouldn't waste 12$ to laugh at a movie, but four bucks seems about right.

If I do, I'll wait for our store to get our rental copies, that way I can watch it for free. No way I'm paying to see a crappy film on puropse.

I'll check out a bad movie from the library, which is why I saw Dragon Ball Z. But I'll never pay to see a movie I know will be bad.

i just get mystery science fiction theater 3000 movies for that - a crappy movie + people making fun of it better than i could in one price. i would never go and pay tosee a movie i wasn't interested in seeing...especially at a movie theater.

Renting, of course. My taste in movies aren't exactly in line with my friends, so we end up getting just a god-awful movie, and end up laughing our asses off at it. But, I'd never go see a movie just to laugh at it. That's a waste of money and time.
