definitely live 10 years less with no regret. I don't even want to live too old anyway.

If I had a regret to fix, and if it was a BIG one - then I'd certainly sacrifice 10 years of my life for it. However, I'm glad to say that I don't have any serious regrets in my life as of now.

I don't have any large regrets in my life so far, but if there was something that I really wanted to fix, I would definitely sacrifice 10 years of my life for it.

If it was a big regret it would be a possibility, but since I only have small, unimportant regrets as of now, there is no way.

I would trade the ten years unquestionably. I only plan on living to be about 50 or so anyways so why not?

hard question...but i dont think so. in life there will always be mistakes and regrets, taking 10 years away won't mean that you wouldnt have others in place of that one. I would just like to keep the 10 years.

Fun question. Anyone who takes the time to think about this question seriously probably has regrets. I know that I do. Would I trade ten years at the very end of my life to go back and fix that regret? ... I think it depends on the mood I'm in when you ask me. Most of the time my personal answer would be no. My life isn't perfect, but I'm more or less happy with how it has turned out. On the other hand it sure would be nice to go back and fix a couple of the mistakes I've made over my life. But then, would I still end up in the same relatively happy spot I am in now? Hard to say.

If I went back in time to fix it, I would never have learned from it and then it would mess up the rest of my life.

I have something that I really regret and I will never forget. It's a secret, too.

Take 10 years away from me :) I want to live a happy life.

It depends, I might depending on how old I actually will become without the loss of 10 years. If it turns out I'm going to get involved in a driveby at the age of 27 or so, I might be reluctant to do your little task.

I'd trade ten years just to see my murdered uncle one last time before he died, and try to help him before the inident happened. I lost him because of drugs and being too young and naive to realize what was going on. I was stupid, too innocent. I want to go back and tell my family to help him, not shun him, and end all the hurt that came after...

I would in a heartbeat. I lost every single one of my friends and the girl I loved more than anything to drugs and alcohol and I feel it could all have been avoided if I had just done more to stop it; if I had seen the signs instead of being so completely ignorant to it all.

Unless the regret is "accidentally killing the wife whom I loved so much with all my heart" or something like that, than no, I'd definetely keep the 10 years...

There is one major thing I would change, and would give up 10 years for it. And this is one of the most thoughtprovokingtopics i'VE seen on GS, thanks for posting.

I have some regrets and mistakes...huge ones. I've made some life and death decisions, where someone else's life was in my hands...I live with deep regret. Yet, I'd still rather live ten more years with my deep regret, than give up a decade of my life to have my guilt lifted.

I don't have a single big regret - but I would trade ten years which I most likely wouldn't want to live to go back in time and change my lifestyle a good bit.

I don't look back on the past too much. So no. But regret can be a painful thing if it is large enough of a regret. If I had a a huge regret I might think of it, but probably not. Maybe if I killed someone on accident. 10 years is a large chunk of your life.
