How many posts do you read until you lose interest in a thread

I used to be able to go through whole 10 page threads. Now I skim the first page, and i am out. I guess the debates are not as intense to me as they used to be.

If the topic is interesting to me and the thread has 3 pages max I read all of them. If there are more than 4 pages then I just read the posts of the users I recognise and want to know their opinion.

Depends on the quality of the thread/posts. If they're interesting I will end up reading quite a few of them.

if no one is throwing insults in the first 2 pages, i'm out

It really depends on three things:

- How much interest I have in the thread itself

- What sort of conversations are taking place

- How bored I am

- How bored I am
