how many sit ups can you do in a minute?

last time i did this i got 38 but when i was younger (and by younger i mean 12 years old lol) i could do 60 in a min.

I used to be able to do like 50 also. I'm far to lazy to find out now (so in other words probably like 12).

I used to be able to do 60 no problem. I could probably do 50 now if my back wasn't on such a hard surface.

Doing them so fast ruins the point, momentum means you aren't even working your muscles that much. speed sit ups are nothing to brag about. Slowly, I do several sets of around 100 each.

I did this one navy challenge where I had to do at least 50, I think I got to like, 48 lol, 2 seconds later than a minute, and I did 50, fairly average...

Sit ups in 60 seconds is a terrible measurement of anything, individuals do them too differently to actually be able ot produce reliable results. V-ups on the other hand, there's only so much error that you can do, and well. It's damn bloody hard-

doesnt matter how many you can do in a minute jsut means your doin it with really bad form, good form is alot bette than quantity. and sit ups are bad for the lower back better off doing crunches but yeh i can do alot with good form.

woot i can brag about myself! in 1999, i broke the sit-up record for 14 year-olds with 79 in one minute. according to a girl who currently goes to my old middle school, my record still stands. lol. best thing i ever did.mahlerite

Why would you want to do sit-ups as quickly as possible? It ts better to do them slowly and with good form. For my sit-up routine it takes about 25-30 minutes to do all the different types I want. I think strength endurance shows how strong your abs are better than speed
