I have two; and it seems like it's coming in, since my gum is inflated and aches really bad. :x

Got mine removed earlier this year; three removed, two impacted. The first night is the worst. You have to bite down on gauze pads until the bleeding subsides, which for me, took all night. The next day wasn't nearly as bad, but I still only ate soup. The diet is what I found to be the worst part. All I wanted to do was have a slice of pizza or eat a hamburger, but I was stuck with cheap, salty soup.
I dunno about you but I don't remember being in pain. The worst part is just that gauze you gotta stuff in your mouth. It's cumbersome and gross.Got mine removed earlier this year; three removed, two impacted. The first night is the worst. I don't even think that's the worst part. The worst is using that little plastic syringe type thing to shoot the special mouthwash into the open sockets, to prevent them from getting infected before they heal up.
I got all four of mine removed surgically last year. I hadn't had any trouble with them before, but then I started getting a real bad ache in my jaw. After like 3 days of that I went to a dentist to check it out, and he said one of my wisdom teeth was already severely infected, and the others were getting there, and he told me to call a surgeon immediately and schedule an "emergency" appointment. He said without telling the surgeon it was an emergency I'd get put on a waiting list and it might take a few weeks, and that if I didn't get them removed within the next few days the infection would spread and fvck up my mouth for life. Less than 24 hours later I was getting dosed with knockout gas (which is amaaaaaaazing).
I had two taken out and there was very little to no pain. Minus the fact that they gave me too much sleepy time medicine and i got sick, i was eating fast food the same day.

Is a part of your finger missing?[QUOTE="lo_Pine"][QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"]

Yup. Look at my index finger. Most of it grew back in the picture above. Picture in spoiler is of the wound.

Wild day... Here, If you wanna read the blog post.
I had 4, all of them were removed. The bottom two hurt like hell to get out. Took a good 30 minutes just for one side.
I had all four taken out at the hospital. And apparently I have even more teeth hidden up in my jaw somewhere... They may not even come through though.
And I can't say it really hurt that much for me (after having them out). I just popped in some nurofen every now and then and primarily lived off custard and pumpkin soup for about a week.
All four.
Bottom two were a damn pain coming through, would flare up from time to time
Top two, I didn't even notice them until I went to the dentist a few months ago.
i had 4. got them all removed at once, 3 of them were impacted and were completely horizontal, i think they had to cut bone in those places. pain sucked. they gave me vicodin, ran out in less then a week. thankfully i didnt get dry socket.
I had all four taken out. The pain wasn't that bad. The only gross thing was I was spitting up blood on the way to the car for my mom to drive me home. Anyway my doctor prescribed me a sh*tload of painkillers, I went to sleep for a good 8 hours, woke up and the pain was very mild and was gone pretty quickly.
It was one of the most unpleasent things I've ever experienced. All four removed whilst awake. Don't ask me why I wasn't put out because I don't know and I think I'm gonna bring that up next time I see one of my parents. I was too young to know better and object to being awake.
I had 4 and had them all removed at once about a year ago. I had an alergic reaction to the anesthetic they put me on so I was vomiting and bleeding heavily for quite a while afterwords. My face was painfully swollen for about a week. Aside from that though it wasn't so bad:P
Mine haven't erupted yet.
The actual procedure of getting them extracted shouldn't hurt since they use anesthetic, it's the aftercare that leaves the mouth sore and on a restricted diet.
