I'm above average I suppose. I built my own computer back in February but as I have never taken a course and am not really sure how all the parts work (Even though I know what they are all for) I wouldn't exactly call myself strong per se.
Well, I know enough about the PC to make a decent PowerPoint and Word document.
But my PC's hard drive just burned out, so I recently got an iMac '08 and I'm trying my best to learn a decent amount about it.
But I am by no means a computer nerd.
I know the hardware part of it. I'm pretty bad with he software partshockwave04
Me too. I love building computers and repairing my friends computers when they **** up and I got nothing to do, but coding and advance **** like that? hell no. Not me. I tried taking a C++ course and couldn't make it passed a week because I understood nothing. I did learn HTML and a bit of java-script though.
A good amount (more than most of my teachers and friends), but not enough to like create programs and stuff.
Enough to get me by. solid_marioSame here. I know how the basic things work, and that's really all I need.
I'm ok with hardware, I help my friends build there systems. I know a bit about the mobos, processors, video cards; but just enough to judge performance. I'm clueless if you ask me about architecture and stuff like that. In software and coding I know basic Java, HTML, and a bit of C++.
It's nice someone's willing to take on the ugly side of C++I'm ok with hardware, I help my friends build there systems. In software and coding I know basic Java, HTML, and a but of C++.

I know the hardware part of it. I'm pretty bad with he software partshockwave04This. I can build one from scratch,in fact I have, but I on the usage side I can make my way around the internet and these forums, and I can play a game but thats about it.
a bit above average i guess. i can put in a video card and ram. anything harder than that i get someone else to do.
I know quite a bit about the hardware part besides RAID. Still looking into RAID though, it would be nice to have a RAID set up. Software is alright, but I could know a bit more.
I am pretty average when it comes to hardware, I can fix most anything that's wrong with the computer (as long as I'm looking at it) and I can program.
I think I suck compared to everyone else though.
I know the hardware part of it. I'm pretty bad with he software partshockwave04i'm the perfect opposite to that.
