The real question is are you supposed to tip people at Sonic since they bring your food to your car. I refuse to tip at a fast food place.kdt55I've never tipped them, but I wouldn't be against it. Why do you refuse to tip at a fast food place (I work at Wendy's, by the way)?
Flip a shiney new quarter at them and say... Don't spend it all in one place...then wink.AngelB1ackHot soup travelled from the back of my throat, through my nose and all over my hand/rest of the soup/keyboard/desk/monitor. I both hate and love you for that.
Now me, I don't tip people for doing their job.

They don't do much. They just give you what you paid for and the service is done from there. They don't come and give me refills and ask if I would like a some dessert. I just wouldn't know what I was tipping for.
That's the good thing about living in New Zealand - tipping someone would just be stupid here...no one does it and no one is expected to.Wolf-Foresteven in resturants?

ANYWHERE. When I went over to the States, I was like "Why should I tip you? You're already getting paid to do your job"
That's how it should be imo, but over here everyone gets paid more, which means tipping is unnessercary.
