How much it matters for having a gf or wife in life?

i never had a gf yet and i am inclined towards complete dedication to the person i marry, i do not believe in marriage less relationships.

marriage is a relationship with formal and publically recognized commitments. also legal and financial obligations tied in as well, which needs to be stressed as well.

I personally value the idea of marriage and wanting to work and - at times - sacrefice to keep one.

Marraige completes half of ones faith :P

How important it is depends entirely on what type of person you are, some people are perfectly happy on their own and have no intention of being in a relationship.

having a partner is important but more important is having sex even not in a relationship.

I could say the same about men.

How much does it matter? That is completely subject to what you want in life. I cannot wait to find the one and start a family. Family is everything to me though, so that makes sense. SOme people put work or other things first, but I work to live, not the other way around.

I think its important because life can be very lonely and painful to go through alone. It just seems healthy and natural to have a partner on that journey. That said i also feel most people get married for the wrong reasons which is why divorce rates are so high. Many are just going through the motions really like its something they are expected and have to do. Then there's the ones that do it for financial reasons. Either that or some get caught up in the rush and excitement of a new relationship and open their eyes once relationship fatigue sets in. Hell for some it never even had anything to do with any type of love just sexual attraction.

2) Get over your fear of women by talking to them in an anonymous format (IM, etc).

3) Lower your standards.

4) Plenty of sites with desperate, ugly women just waiting to for someone to come along and bang them. Join one.

5) Get out of your parents' basement.

Start getting laid and you will realize why your life is so empty.

can i delete that darn topic? yes i am 32 years old, i love someone which is one sided love since like 7 years, i just founded today a few hours ago that she might have become rich, i am giving up now cause marrying a rich modern girl ain't my idea, plus the money gap will hurt one's marriage. i guess i will find a rural village girl instead.

I've given up on ever getting married or ever being in a relationship, I'm just not suited for either.

Don't think about marriage until you've come to understand yourself, what you expect from a simple relationship, and have experience with both dating and long-term commitment. Living with a person for a least a year should be a mandatory requirement of marriage. People change when they go "home" and they, almost always, will lie about what they do/don't do. Even you. We all have quirks that could, if compounded or serious enough, could early destroy an otherwise healthy relationship.Zeviander

well said pal, the girl i love has also gotten fat alongwith being rich (still not sure if thats the case as i need to stalk around her home but i won't do it i ain't no stalker), my principle idea is about having complete devotion to marriage life, being pure moral guy. i won't accept used modern girl for marriage.
