The most widely accepted theory is that we only use about 10% of our brain. I've never heard any conclusive evidence contradicting that.UT_Wrestler
Have you tried google? The 10% thing is a myth and is no where near the most widely accepted theory, with lots of contradicting evidence.
[QUOTE="FragStains"]Right now...I'm using someone else's brain. About 12% of it.Dman0017now how did you manage that?Deep concentration...and some uncooked spaghetti.
All of it. That's how I'm not sitting, but hovering over my chair, and using my mind to type this. And, I just got a glass of lemonade from the fridge using my mind powers.
But seriously, all of it.
[QUOTE="Jandurin"]I hope to one day reach a prestigious and vaunted 1 percent.Dman0017planning on running for a political office someday soon? Nah, I'm too smart for that.
All of it. If I didn't, I doubt I would be capable of forming coherent thoughts and typing this right now. Our brains have evolved over time for specific functions... and none really ever lie "dormant" and go "unused." A majority of the brain while conscious is always active... and it switches things up when unconscious.
Most of the subconscious activity going on in our brain is in the mid brain and cerebellum, the cerebrum is the largest part of our brain....The old saying that we only use 10% of our brains is a load of crap. We use almost all of it all the time even if we're not doing it consciously.
