How much you pay for rent?

I pay $320 a month mortgage. rent if you wanna call it.. plus all kinds of bills. together $885 a month :(

Im thinking about renting out a room, but IDK.. some people might not wanna pay the rent. etc

pay $425/week - ~1700/month 3 bedroom house just out of capitol of nz. Then bills on top.

One of the cheaper places I could go (that wasn't disgusting)

damn.....yous guys are not paying much. to get a decent single bedroom apartment around here its alteast 1300/month. and thats a damn small apartment

I live in San Francisco, rent a really nice room for 700 with utilities its around 850. Its a good find here in the city.

Well my step-bro just moved out, so now I'm paying $1517 a month for the rent, plus bills. It used to be half that amount (obviously :P).

I payed $760 for rent when I was in an apartment. It was about the mid-price for where I was.

$1079 in SoCal. Just rent, doesn't include anything else and it's a...wait for this... a 1-bedroom. Teehee. No, it's not grandeur.. I'm moving out pretty soon. It's ridiculous what the rent is going for here. I've seen some very grimy apartments for what I pay for but at least my apartment is nice. Will be moving to Pasadena or Burbank, that's for sure.

Costs about 3800 sek a month. 2 rooms, 57m2 with a huge kitchen, big as a one room apartment so.. it's basically three rooms.

Guess it would be around 600$

But at least I get to shower however the fudge long I want.

$0. I live my parents. At 14, I'm really in no rush to go anywhere. I guess I pay off my "rent" by doing chores and schoolwork.

before we bought our place my chick and i were paying ~ 1600/month i think.. before that i had my own place @ $950/month for a 1br w/ heat/hot water included.

175$ a month, utilities included. The landlord goes to my church and cuts people with a lower income a deal.

Plus it's a block away from campus!

£450 a month on rent alone which is around $730.

A studio around here that isn't infested with bugs and crime goes for about $1000 a month. For a studio......if you want to live further out you can get a decent 1br for about $900 but your just going to lose that money on gas sitting in traffic for 5 hours a day.

About $1500-$1600 a month for the mortgage payment/property taxes, cable/internet for my 1500 sq ft townhome

$660/month mortgage. I put in an extra $2k per month. Will be paid off late next year, can't wait.

The wife and I pay $550/month for a 2-bedroom, decently sized. It would be $600/month, but the landlord gives us a discount for doing the yardwork ourselves. We live a couple of hours out of Chicago, so the rent's not too bad out here. A couple of years ago we were living in the suburbs (Aurora, to be exact) and our rent was $300/month more.

A question for Chessmaster: do you split the rent with roommates? That seems awfully low for Chicago.
