I used to go a lot last year, but this year, in 07, i have only gone 3 times. I mostly wait for the DVD to come out now as i figure most movies aren't worth the high admission price plus transportation. Although i don't usually eat popcorn and snacks + coke and stuff like that which helps keep costs down.
i got to the movies rarely. $8 for a movie is way too much. and dont get me started on the snacks and what-not. $3 for a small bottle of water is just ridiculous. ill just wait for the movie to come out and rent it at Red Box for $1.
I rarely go to theaters. There's always a bunch of people talking, snacks are extremely overpriced, and the screen is way to dark and you can barely see anything.
I have only been twice this year and that was on the spur of the moment. I've decided that I'd rather get the film on DVD rather than sit in the cinema where other people can ruin the experience for me.
One time last year, some of the local chavs decided to have a game of football (soccer) in the main aisle at the front with an empty Fanta bottle and there wasn't any staff to deal with it.
