I am definately dependant on a computer to do schoolwork (high school if anyone's wondering) and was wondering how often others are allowed to use them attheir schools. Our class pretty much uses them for any assignment that's over one paragraph long. Is this just a small town thing? Oh and has spellcheck totally screwed you over too? I can't spell anything on paper anymore...
I'm in high school and 2 of my 5 classes are on the PC. So that's 9:05-11:00 PM. Roughly 2 hours. But I also stay after school 1 hour cause my mom is still working so I go to the library and use the PC there so that's another hour.
So I use it about 3 hours per day (50% of the school day xD)
rarely. Most of my work is done on my own pc because there are always too many people hogging youtube or whatever in those labs..I'll probably go to the labs to print my report and stuff i guess
Every morning. I practice photoshop, after effects, and 3d modeling in lightwave in my first period electronic media class. Though as of late, I've been focusing on a 3d animation project, and I've only been practicing with photoshop at home.
Though a couple times a week, I have the chance to use the computer in my debate class to gather articles needed for student congress and extemporaneous speaking at NFL (National Forensics League) tournaments. It sucks that we have only one computer though, seeing as how they put the five that we were supposed to have in some warehouse, and we aren't going to be getting anymore until next month. I don't know who made the brilliant decision of only having one computer for a debate class, but whoever did that needs to be punched in the throat.
