All the time. Meh I don't care for g@ys. I am 17 years old btw. I would understand it would be uncool to say it if you were like 24 + but if not then who cares. Is it offensive? I really don't think so.

Saying "That's gay is just a way of saying "That sucks". It isn't meant to be offensive, although I'm sure it is. I can see someone being offended, but they should understand that it isn't being directed in a negative way towards them. That's my two cents worth.

Unless I'm describing something homosexual or happy, I don't use it. And it's not that I think people that use it are generally homophobic, it's the interpretation on the other side that keeps me from using it. Plus, I think there's many more words that are more effective.
I use it pretty frequently in a negative context. I have no problem with homosexuals, but no one will determine my goddamn linguistic habits if I have a say at all.
If I'm remembering correctly, the word gay was a staple of mine in high-school as a substitute for the word "lame." I stopped using the word in that context soon after I entered college.
i use the word whenever it is appropriate to use it, but never to deride. friends of dorothy often refer to themselves as such and prefer the word gay to "homosexual". gay also means happy and carefree. the enola gay was a b-29 but it didn't bring happiness.
Almost never. The only time I ever use it is when it slips out and I'm just throwing around random things because I'm briefly upset about something, but that RARELY ever happens and I never say it around other people.

You are totally right, Power Metal is gay hahahaha. I rarely use it, but come on, power metal is truly gay (just look for power metal bands' photos).
i say the word but i dont mean it like everyone thinks i do, i use it in a different context. the word has a new connotation now. today it doesnt mean queer but more "stupid". when someone says thats 3 letter word, it means theyre calling someone/sthg stupid.

I don't buy that. It's implying that gays are stupid. If it didn't imply that, there would be no need to use it in that way. It's implying there's something wrong with being gay
