well that certainly ended this thread quick :PWhen you're dead.
Unless they have internet access in the afterlife, then never.

This. Video games are for the kiddies.

[QUOTE="KiIIyou"]twenty nineGatlingHammerI think this sounds good 30 is way too old to be here. I can't imagine even liking video games at that point. There are alot of us here who are around 30 that still like video games. Have an issue with that?

I don't understand why people keep asking when you *are* going to stop coming to forums. The answer is pretty simple: when you don't want to visit them anymore. I used to have a good friend on another forum that I think is turning 51 this year. Visiting forums is not something you "grow out of". If you don't enjoy talking to people online then don't do it. If you feel you are way too old for the community just visit a forum that would generally have older people on it.
When you're married? Note to self: Don't get married.[QUOTE="cybrcatter"] I'll stop liking video games when I stop liking sex.entropyecho
Gotta go with Gabu... posting dead is a bit of a problem. I've known people on here who are in their 60's/70's, and I don't see why it would be a problem. Something wrong with trying new things throughout your life? That would lead to a boring life, if you ask me.MAILER_DAEMONIf I'm posting by the time I'm 60 or 70 that would be the opposite of trying new things. Also, who's 60 or 70?

rawsavon looks like one fine piece of meat. Not much has changed since the BBS days. The names may have changed and the pages are much fancier. But, the meat of the discussions haven't changed. Stuff like at System Wars have been going on since the 80's. Whereas now it's mostly console and PC, back then it was PC and Amiga. Consoles were still in their 8-bit and 16-bit worlds. So, they weren't even an afterthought in most system wars. Some things change obviously. The fanbois haven't.
I'm right at home here. I'll quit when I lose interest.

Really?
This isn't the 80's anymore. Games are marketed to everyone from 1 to 100.
I'd say 50+. No offence to anyone that is, it just seems odd you're not enjoying retirement/family/etc! :P
Maybe they enjoy browsing forums as part of their retirementI'd say 50+. No offence to anyone that is, it just seems odd you're not enjoying retirement/family/etc! :P

Nothing wrong with getting on forums like these no matter what the age. It's just when you spend so much time on these places instead of having any sort of life is when it becomes a problem for any age.

That and marriage. Half of your life (mostly the carefree part) ends when you tie the knot. If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't even be here. I'd probably have a date or be at some strip joint somewhere.
