I can't play video games anymore, I've wasted more than half my life on those things, and all for what? Some brief entertainment! It's been a long week

thats y your supposed to set time aside to do other things like work, exercise, play sports, hang out with friends, damnit
I definitely had a seizure two Mondays ago, turns out it was the long term damage from videogames. They don't worn you about those kind of things on the box, now I suffer from head problems, paranoia, and hyper tension. I have to go get some more blood tests and cat scans next week. It just stinks that something I used to do for fun did this to me.
And no I wasn't the kind of kid who played 6+ hours a day
I stopped gaming last year. It was affecting my college work so i just had to stop. Now im getting A grades and instead of playing games a do photography and im doing an internship at Rankin studios in London.
I only play my 360 now when my i got friends round but apart from that i never play it anymore.
They have seizure warnings in every instruction booklet.I definitely had a seizure two Mondays ago, turns out it was the long term damage from videogames. They are some side effects to gaming. In China they are already restricting hours people can play to avoid these kind of problems.

The Chinese have died though, that's scary. I wonder if it was all malnourishment...or if they'd had seizures as well.

Every instruction book warns you of the damage and tells you to rest for 10-15 mins for every hour of play if you didn't heed the warnings it's your own fault.

Yeah, and some video game cases have the warning on the back.
Aren't you wasting your time now posting on a forum about how you wasted your time on video games :|...kulmiye
This makes a little sense...:|

That sounds like something jack thompson would pay someone off too say (I mean it doesn't sound like you know what actually caused those things but just liek jack thompson you blame video games :P) but what the hell are you complaining about video games on a site all about video games (I mean thats even worse then wasting your time playing video games and makes absolutely no sense) and even more importantly wasting your time on the internet like you just did when you made this thread is just as bad as wasting your time playing video games. Also video games dont cause those things generally you already have them but video games sets them off like an allergy (well epilepsey and maybe head problems not that I know which ones your talking about, possibly paranoia if your really that mentally weak but hyper tension I just doubt it). For example: (not the best example but I think the most clear) playing manhunt would not turn someone mentally ill but if a mentally ill person played it, it may give them a few good ideas and set them over the edge (and this is not exclusive to video games it is likely that any tv show or movie could do the same).
