Very superstitious. Writing's on the wall.
Very superstitious. Ladder's 'bout to fall.
Thirteen month old baby broke the looking glass.
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past.

I get superstitous regarding sports.mattykovax
Those don't count as superstitions.
I only wash my softball jersey after a poor game, thus purging the suckitude. When I do well on the field, I don't want to wash away the good mojo that has taken up residence in the jersey. I could explain further, but it's very technical and sciencey.
Very, very unsuperstitious. I can't in my right mind understand how so many people can trust in such things.

Don't you worship Dibela or whatever her name is?
And I saw you in a thread the other day reccomend someone try out a type of Hindu astrology.
I try to do as many "unlucky" things as possible. To challenge the gods to come up with new and inventive ways of bringing me bad luck. I think they ran out of ideas a while ago.AnObscureName
Best avatar ever.

Scientific reasoning and evidence puts astrology at a standstill.
Is it any coincidence that when modern Astrology was developing in the middle ages (12 different month sign type) that they based their constellations on stars that are within the same tiny little proximaty to earth as compared to the rest of the galaxy?
Think of it this way, all the constellations you can see in the sky are as close to earth compared to the entire galaxy as if the only people you could see were in your living room compared to the entire planet.
I think this evidence makes astrology sound a little naive.

You said you aren't superstitious, yet you are reccomending certain types of astrology, which is pretty much the same thing.

Why would you reccomend something you don't even believe in?

I'm not. Being superstitious is something that incredibly common since most people in the world believe in some kind of god. A big superstition is still a superstition.

When you reccomend someone to do something, usually it's for that person's own good.
If you don't even believe that thing yourself, how can you think it will be for that person's own good?
In other words, why are you promoting something you believe to be false?
