how to fix a bicycle flat tire

basically a thing like punchered my tire and theres a small hole in it now

i needa know a short term method with some stuff i can find at home and a long term solution as well.

i work in a bike shop..so

there are puncture kits but you are better of buying a new tire...is is better and overall more logical,,, and those puncture kits are meh-from the day i have worked there i havent even sold one..BUt sold a milion tires..
