yeah... i'm really skinny and i'm sick of it.... do you gain shoulder width by becoming fat? i don't want to be like fat, i just want to gain more meat but also work out in the process... do you think that'll work? also what is the quickest way of becoming fat? right now i'm working out but i'm skinny as hell... any help on how to be average or a hunk?

eat lots and work out... i'm skinny as hell too, but that seems to be working for me

I myself am trying to get meat on me... not lard, so I'm just eating LOTS of healty stuff, and the more exercise you do, the hungrier u are, and the more you want to eat!

My dog ate a whole stick of butter and went outside about 15 minutes later. I doubt that will fatten you up, if anything it will give you an enima in the wrong direction :o

eat a ton only move to go to the bathroom (but that can be avoide by the simple use of diapers) but why would you want to be fat i like being skinny and if you get fat you'd have to buy all new clothes

Eat a lot of protein, steak, tuna, chicken, all of it. Carbs are great too, work out, do yo thang.

Concentrate on physical activities that will bulk you up with a minimal loss of calories.  Weight-lifting is a must if you want to build shoulder mass.  If it's something you're embarassed to do in a public gym, then do it at home.  Until you can get a decent set of weights, you can use household things like large canned goods or the like.  Alternate on each day by going for power on one day, and then reps the next.  While I don't recommend cutting running or walking entirely out of your exercise plan, these won't really help the areas that you stated that you wanted to bulk up.

Keep up a diet high on carbs and proteins.  Eat lots of breads, pastas, nuts, and meats.  Don't go for a lot of sweets or pop, because these will give you short-term energy and will not help in the long run.  Fast food will mostly just shoot through your system, but if you're looking for fat, I guess it will help.  I'd also recommend picking up a legal supplement.  I'm not sure if Creatin is still legal or not, but that was a good one back in the late nineties.  Water is an absolute must - drink as much as you can.  Don't substitute things like Propel or mineral water for regular water, as it'll leave you dehydrated and you'll wind up losing mass.

 Other than that.... beefcake!  BEEFCAKE!

Bacon and more meat. to balance out your meals nutrition wise, add in some fruits and veggies. get some milk and bread products. exercise well. eat MORE, but eat healthy.

My friends have the same problem and are mixing "Weight Gain 4000" with stuff they drink. Yeah, it exists, and I didn't believe it until I saw it. Don't know how much it's working, but if you see the stuff that's in it, it's pretty disgusting. It's basically powdered fat and sugar. But supposedly it doesn't taste like total crap.

At the rate I'm going, I might need it soon, too.

Ok i have had this same issue for i don't know how many years .. i have tried everything but nothing works ... its been about 5 years and no matter what i eat my weight does not go beyond 65 to 70 kg .....i  can eat a lot and push it to 70kg but then it gradually falls down or stays somewhere in the middle ... but there are lot if things in all of this .... first of all its inherited .. so skinniness is in your family then you gotta live with that ... and believe me its better then people who gain weight by just looking at food .... as for me our whole family has been skinny and most of them gained weight in thier 30's including my dad so looks like i gotta wait for 6 more years or maybe more ... do exercise that will really help ... if you cant gain weight by eating then that mean that your body's metabloism is so good it balances out everything you eat ... it just uses the required amount of energy and then gets rid of the waste ;) .. so do some bodybuilidng but not weight lifting ... and when you will do that you will eat a lot automatically and if you won't gain weight then atleast you will have super sexy 6-pakcs and model like body ;) ... and please avoid junk food ... its of no good ... !!! Eat alot, but healthy. I used to be a little on the chubby side and started eating healthy (chicken breast, turkey on wheat, tuna, salad, etc.) and working out and now im 175lbs and have 7% body fat. It is an incredible feeling to be in such good shape. If you need a good workout routine, its good to ask people at the gym your at, thats how i learned. For starters you should have a regimen something like this...Monday: chest and triceps    Tuesday: legs   Wednesday: back and biceps    Thursday: shoulders/traps and abs    Then you rest until Monday rolls by again. Its good to rest, you dont want to overdue it, and get at least 8 hours of sleep if you can, your muscle does alot of growing while you sleep.

It kinda matters on your metabolism. Just keep working out and you will get stronger.

Just do what I did...buy a decent set of home weights and just do a little each day. Think you should do up to half an hour a week though I just do my own thing. Worked for me :D

do you want to be fat FAT or muscular?  If you want to be muscular then just eat well and have a workout regiment and stick to it thru thick and thin.  If you wanna be fat then that really is harder (seriously).  The fastest way would be to eat 2 big meals a day, over 1000 calories in both and snack a lot.  Dont eat 3 meals cuz it will increase your metabolism more, and only eating two will make your body keep in more of the fat that you eat.

Fastest way to get fat would be to sit on your ass for a month and eat 20000 calories worth of fast food a day.

yeah, my girlfriend says I'm skinny. She's always trying to make me eat. I have muscle but not a lot of body mass. Ive been eating lots of meat and working out three times a week.

  Trying to change your genes? Eating to become big will do nothing more than make you fatter. I have a broad chest and big arms with high shoulders, but that's just because my father and both of my grand fathers have a large stature so naturally I do. I've always been taller and broader than anyone else.
