I'm not sure, all girls are different. I girl at my school always asks me what we have for homework when I know she already knows. She's a straight A student so it's pretty obvious she's trying to spark a conversation. And normally your friends should now, it's only another reason I know why this girl likes me too.

This is obviously the best advice, and might I add that as you slowly gyrate your pelvis you rub
on your nipples in a counter-clock wise motion until they stand on end like a cactus. As this shows
that you are there to conquer her space, and are not willing to back down.

Before you ask her out, do some of the stuff that will make it completely, 100 percent sure that she likes you. Make a pretty bad joke on purpose and touch your leg against hers if your sitting next to her. Chances are she'll move it if she doesn't like you, she'll keep it if she does.
