Post examples if you like. I can't since my scanner's no good at the moment and I don't have any saved to my Hard Drive.
But I'd say I'd be the fourth option on the poll.

I use to draw pretty good. Same things over and over though..muscle men, cartoon type superheros,ect..I have been told that I missed my calling in life not doing something with art...BUT...I never was that great imho..I have a friend and he was a pro from the time he was in 5th grade. Drew xmen and everything from memory and they looked incredible..HE now works in a factory....HE missed his calling 100x over..
That's one of my most recent drawings. I don't consider myself very good because I make too many mistakes. Well here's my DeviantArt; http://meconate.deviantart.com/gallery/meconate
Come on dude, that's some first rate stuff. Way better then anything I could do.
Haha, well thanks man, that means a lot to me. :) I've been drawing for a few years, but with college in the way, I'm a little absent than usual. I'm hoping to take an art course soon though.[QUOTE="BATTOSAI76"]

Only a few years? Wow. You could illustrate a manga and I would figure you'd been doing it your whole life, not to mention how authentic looking it is, no western influence, assuming you are American.:P

Haha, nah I'm British. Well I don't think I'm quite up to manga standards just yet. I used to sketch on and off years back, but should I say I've only been taking it seriously these past 3 or 4 years. My problem is my patience; I need it to be perfect in my eyes, and if I notice something wrong with my pictures, I usually end up completely scrapping a near finished piece of work or just putting myself down even more. Haha, my art tutor used to often tell me this was my problem.Maybe you should do some fan-fic or doujinshi, ya know, just to try seeing your drawings as a whole unit, story, art, characters, then maybe the mistakes will get drown out a little.

Well that would be an idea. Perhaps when I get some more time on my hands, I will. Y'see, I took a media course that's throwing more reports at me than possible... gotta get 'em all done, no time for drawing at the moment. But thanks again, man, it always makes me feel great to see someone liking my work. :)No problem. I know I should get back to drawing a bit but I'm the same as you, not much time and all. Anyway, keep it up bro.
I went to a behavioral school (for back on track reasons, not for behavioral reasons) and every trouble maker kid there knew how to draw REALLY well!
They were giving each other tattoos with Pen
Some of the art those kids made was phenomenal.
Too bad they screwed up their lives
Don't wish PracticeI'm horrible at drawing.....I wish I was a lot better.

How do you think Mozart became good at music?
His dad drilled over 3,500 hours of practice into him.
It takes about 10,000 hours to master something. Adding in complications and of course sleep. That's about 10 years.

That's the plan. I have MS Paint and I am trying drawing. You're right.[QUOTE="SaintWalrus"]Don't wish Practice[QUOTE="outworld222"]

I have some recommendations for you http://www.amazon.com/New-Drawing-Right-Side-Brain/dp/0874774195/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325126588&sr=8-1 Very good book on drawing And pretty much everything by Andrew Loomis You can get his entire works for free here http://alexhays.com/loomis/ It's legal because his works are public domain.I can barely draw stick figures, but I'd really like to learn how to draw since I think ir's a really unique skill, and it's amazing how many artistic styles different artists can have. I have a very high regard for artists, and would love to be one myself someday.MudkipMaster30Check my above post for more information :)
[QUOTE="sonic__323"]You should post some of your work in this thread. :P Soon maybe. :)I can draw pretty good, but I wouldn't consider myself an "expert".

A person born without any arms could draw better than me, thats how much I suck at drawing.Mkavanaugh77Watch the movie My left foot
