I started out with a mom and dad but they divorced later on. I still got to spend time with both but it was never the same. It always feels like theirs a rift between parents. I envy those who got to live with non seperated parents

Do tell please. Sounds interesting. I was on and off living with my guardian throughout my life. Then my parents got divorced, mom moved to England, I got stuck with my dad for a while, now I'm back living with my guardian.
I grew up with my parents, but I had 2 younger siblings and 2 older siblings from my dad's previous marriage. In a way, I can say my family as awhole raised me as my parents work all the time and shoot amateur pool 4 days a week, so they are home a total of 2 or 3 hours a day when I'm actually awake. I spent the majority of my childhood over at a relatives with my cousins. I'm rather surprised that most people I know are not to familiar with their cousins. I have 20 of them and we all know each other on a deeply personal level.
Mostly my mom since I lived with her, but my dad also had a contributing part in that. And my former stepdad, but we don't like to talk about that period of time
My father was a sailor and he liked to take me and my mother on his voyages out to sea. A storm hit on one of these voyages and cast the three of us on a uninhabited island. Thankfully my father was good with his hands and built us a nice house high up in a tree out of our wrecked ship. We could have lived happily for many, many years if it were not for the jaguar that had been stalking us.
I was raised by both my parents. I have relatively old parents (mum and dad were 43 and 45, respectively, when I was born), so they were home almost every day as I went to school. I also had considerable upbringing by my sister and brother, who are each about 20 years older then me.

Obviously he isn't still there, wouldn't you move if there was a jaguar after your ass?
Parents Are still happily married, and my moms been a stay at home mom for a long time, I can barely rember when she stopped working. They figured it was easier to have one of them at home all the time when my third sibling was born. Before that my grandparents did quite a bit of filling in. I rember my granpa would always buy us KFC because it was just 3 minutes away and he can't cook. :P
