although i doubt the greeks had or even would have the man power to force their religion onto people i think the world would be much better, with 100% native european values.

i agree, and i think we wouldnt have some of the major issues we have today. infact i see the world as a totally better place with any form of european paganism

It was like that for Christianity forever though....probably just becouse humans weren't developed as well as they are today, I'm guessing the same change would occur in that socioty as well....

later greeks were more ashamed of it than against it. they covered it up in later literature, but it still happened. the bronze age was pretty brutal.

good points, maybe we could do away with a certain lawyer(no names need to be said) that thinks GTA is the root of all evil, since greeks were very appreciative of art

so i guess we all agree, native european religions are better. and with beliefs that dont require everyone to believe in them anywhere in europe i think its safe to say we wouldnt have to put up with annoying religion threads in forums! pre-christian europe ftw!

So any does not include Romans? Or how about the Celts? You mentioned their 'barbarism' just the other day...

i would rather the celtic/nordic(cousin kin) way of life over the roman or greek personally. even if they were headhunters and very violent, you would expect the culture to evolve. but even in the purest celtic culture i would be happy. celts knew no fear. that alone is a good enough reason for me to want to live amongst them.
