How would you flirt with your waitress?

Not that I've tried... yet! But i'm sure in everybodies lives you're dining at a restaurant and your hostess or waitress, or waiter is really nice, beautiful, and just your type. If not, go eat out more often. I just met one of these types, but she was probably older then me, and I was with my family... lol.

So what would you do? If you were alone or with friends or whatever. Seems to be a good place to find nice women, but of course they're paid to act nice.

Anyways I would have no idea how to start, so what would you do?

I just leave a nice tip and hope that she'll think fondly of me in retrospect at least.

(I'm a waiter myself and I always tip well just because thats my personality)

I also say "thanks" and "thank you" a lot.

Edit: Most of my customers don't flirt with me, but when they do they ask me over a lot for misc questions and they seem to chuckle a lot.

I guess you could like right your number on the check? Or does that only work for the waiter?

Does the waitress keep something from the check? Right your number and leave a nice tip.

Haha, people say funny things. No I didn't even try to flirt with the waistress, I would never in front of my family.

But it does seem kinda hard to get them to talk to you, but sometimes if you say the right things, you can start a little conversation. But then what?

This is very true. You need to meet the person on a regular bases in a more friendly environment. One that doesn't involve a business exchange. It's possible for the two of you to develop something, but it'll be difficult, and I don't have any real advice about how to do that.

Usually it's someone from work, school, a club like this guy mentioned, through friends, or in rarer occasions, you meet because you share a common ex-girlfriend...ahem...but anyway you need to talk to her in a setting where you're considered equals. So if you can't do that in the restaurant, you might need to meet her somewhere else. And if you don't know much about her, I don't know how you'll pull that off. I don't suggest resorting to stalking though. lol

Just right your number on something that she'll be seeing, along with some witty comment. That seems like the best option to me; worse thing that can happen: she won't call you. :shock:

Probably this, most waiters are just trying to work and get a tip. Hot bartenders will definetly chat you up and maybe flirt with you a little to but she's still just working and hoping for a tip.

Best advice I can give is go alone and ask for when you get seated and be honest. Hey I was here a week ago and was just thinking if you want to maybe blah blah coffee blah blah blah on your lunch break blah blah blah, you get the idea.

Whatever you do, do it once she's handed you the bill. Doing anything that could be considered off-putting to someone that handles your food is a gigantic mistake.Jaks_Publicity

I worked in sporting goods selling guns, and she was a chasier, we normally worked opposite shifts and I knew that I probably wouldnt really see her if at all.
