I cannot imagine it ever happening.

I don't think he likes brits anyway from all the bits n bobs I heard, so if there was any pleasure to be had from such a meeting, the pleasure is all his.

Depends who the president was. No matter who it's a great honor but some I'd be more talkative with.

I'd be excited to meet the President (or even a former President) no matter who it was...even if it was someone who I didn't agree with like George Bush.

Being Canadian I wouldn't care. If I were to pick a political figure to meet it would be Queen Elizabeth. And yes I know she is not technically a political figure.

I'd dress up, obviously. Then I'd shake his hand, call him "sir," and follow his conversational lead. Basically the same thing I do when meeting any important person.

I'd claim that I'm going to punch him in the face and question his citizenship and whatever else I can think of. Then, once I'm done with the internet tough guy act, I'd put on some smiffy duds, shake his hand, and act with the utmost respect and courtesy.

Walked in, salute, shaked his hand, answered his question, took photo, walked out, went to Burger King. Not so exciting.

Depends on the situation.

If it was a formal event, I'd wear formal clothes.

Upon meeting him/her, I'd shake his/her, just as I would for nearly any other human being.

My indifference might be because I'm Canadian... But I'd act the same for the Prime Minister or Queen.

And hopefully get laid.Agent-Zero

And of course this.

Put on a suit, act respectful, shake the mans hand and, well, that's probably it. I've got respect for the guy but he's still not my leader. I would honestly have no idea what to do if I was meeting the Queen however.

Don't even bother, no amount of evidence would convince a birther because birthers are crazy people.

But yes, all of those were faked. Obviously some Muslim Kenyan communist came to the US in 1961 just to put the birth in the newspaper because in 1961 he knew that any black man was basically a lock to be elected president in about 50 years.

I might wear something nice, but this would not be the president i would like to meet. I'd rather meet rush limbaugh. I'd probably ask the president why he is intent on destroying the country in every way he can.

Listen, I'm no Birther and quite frankly my problems with this (and the last) administration go WAY beyond something so trivial. However, ANYONE can have a Certificate of Live Birth produced. It is a document that basically indicates a person is, in fact, alive. Actually, I don't give Obama credit for much, but I give him credit for all of this. With all the questions swirling around it (both by NuTs and even some "normal" folks), he really could just release his ACTUAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE. But by not releasing it, he lets people that are going to hate him no matter what have something to occupy their time. So even though I disagree with a lot of his politics, I totally give him kudos for this little diversion. Kind of like Area 51. It keeps the nut jobs busy :)

Thats a really good question. I'm fairly certain it's not because he isn't white (although who knows with some people). I think in part is that he spent so much of his youth overseas (especially in some heavily muslim populated countries). Plus, the name Barack Hussein Obama probably doesn't help at all. And then, since he never realeased THE birth certificate, I can see how some people would start asking questions.
