How would YOU slay zombies in a zombie apocalypse?

For me personally, I'd go Dead Rising on them using anything and everything I can find to kill them with. How would you do it?

Any type of highly destructive long range weapon...

Let's face it....anyone saying they'd use anything melee related or close range as a first resort is lying..because at the end of the day we all want to survive...and seeing as if one is bitten by a zombie one is then "Dead" in a sense..one would more likely then not try and eliminate said zombies from as far away as possible...

The rate of fire as well as the time to re-acquire a target would be too slow if we're talking about hordes of zombies. Especially if you're using a bolt-action weapon system. Also, using a 50-cal. sniper forces you to be stationary. If you're going to choose 50-cal., you might as well go big and choose the old reliable M-2. Twin ma-deuces fitted on a nightstalker.

Well, you got to imagine, theres no efficient way of killing zombies besides constant headshots with a gun of some sort and an abundance of ammo. Melee would work against 1 or 2 maybe, but its not exactly as simple as left 4 dead 2 or Dead rising makes it seem to take a sword to a zombie =P
You have to factor in fatigue, arm strength, and weapon durability.
Where as a gun, as long as you keep it clean, is as simple as point and click.

However, if a large horde of them come at me, grenades can keep the numbers down for me. Or if I needed to.....end myself. I'll make sure I take a large group of them with me....
